Blind Item From The Buzz

I wasn't home last Saturday so I didn't know if it's true that there was no Da Who beacuse it's Startalk's anniversary special. Anyway since I stumbled upon a magazine stand inside a restaurant we were at, I decided to buy The Buzz Magazine to kill time while waiting for our order. Good thing there were blind items inside. Here is one . . .

Malditang Sexy Star

Minsan, may taping ang kilalang mapagmataas na Sexy Star na produkto ng isang reality show. Ang girl ay baguhan kaya hindi sya sanay sa paggamit ng lapel mic.
Heto ngayon ang siste, may eksenang mabigat na ipinagagawa at dahil may pagkabano sa acting si sexy star, hindi nya nasunod ang gusto ni Direk. Matapos ang maraming take ay humingi ng break si Direk. Dito nagsalita ng kung anu-ano laban sa direktor si Sexy Star. Hindi nya alam nadidinig ng lahat ng technical people pati ni Direk ang boses nya dahil naka-on ang lapel mic nya. Wala syang kamalay-malay na nagmukha syang tanga! Hindi naman sya sinita sa kanyang kapangahasan. Basta pagkatapos ng serye halos isang taon nawalan ng proyekto ang matabil at mapagmalaking sexy star na ito. Mabuti naman at edukado naman ang direktor kaya hindi sya ipinahiya.

Da Who ang Newly Celeb feeling sikatuna to the max. Demanding naghahanap ng sariling room kahit baguhan pa lang. Inaya magpapicture ni reportage at ang sagot “I’m already leaving na e.” Ganon! Clue: Sing na lang ng Bahay Kubo. Hide na lang natin sa namesung na Petra Feelingera. So cheap . . . Patani of Survivor Philippines . . . aba feelingera nga!

Finality Da Who . . . Subject: Starlet Matronix

Da Who ang Starlet na nagpapaka-matronix sa pagtambay sa bar. Tumatambay sya sa gay bar dahil dun ang work ng papa nya. At ang ipinangsusustento nya sa kanyang papa ay galing sa papa nyang mayaman. Clue: I-connect na lang natin sa ibong itim. Itago na lang natin sa namesung na Vanna Roces. Thanks to my cousin ‘coz I already forgot this starlet . . . Raven Villanueva.

Unang Da Who . . . Subject: Super Celeb and Friend

Da Who ang Super Celeb at friend na hinahabol-habol pa rin raw ng fans around the U.S. dahil sa dami ng nasuba nito. Kalat na sa communities abroad ang talamak na pangungutang ni Super Celeb sa super fans nya na kanyang tinatakbuhan pagkatapos. Aba itong si friend din ni Super Celeb din pala na kilalalang madatung din dito sa Pinas ay at utangera na din sa fans ni Super Celeb pero like ni Super Celeb ay wa na rin raw pagkapaysung. Kaya ngayon ang “mayroong” ginamit na creditor ay taguansung. Da who sina Super Celeb and friend??? Wa na clue! Hide na lang natin sa namesung na Andrea Narciso at Sheryl Nacuha.

OMG! Super Celeb nga talaga yung answer as in THE ONE AND ONLY SUPERSTAR . . . Nora Aunor and her rumoured partner in life . . . Nori Sayo!

Da who ang young jowas na ito na mukhang so inalababo to each other on cam pero wishing truelili off cam. Yun pala kay girl lang truelili ang feeling kaso kay boy he’s pretending lang kse nahuli sya ni girl na kalambuchingan ang trueliling type nyang girl. Hide na lang natin sila sa namesung na Brezee Koronel at Albert Abrelata.

Well I really find this two so corny, pa-tweetums and fake . . . Kris Bernal and Aljure Abrenica.

Fruit Magic

It’s so ironic that my favourite drink of all was introduced to me by my cousin who were born and raised in the U.S. We were at the SM Mall of Asia the first time I got to taste it. He was so thirsty strolling around and when he saw the Fruit Magic stall and there’s buko pandan juice available he was so excited and bought some for us. Cool and refreshing with just the right amount of sweetness, Fruit Magic’s Buko Pandan juice is really a great drink. Once you sip the smooth taste will linger on your tongue making it addicting. After consuming all of it I absolutely understood why my cousin was so happy when he saw the beverage. Now every time I’m at the mall and I need a drink I scout the area first and look for Fruit Magic and if there’s one I’d definitely buy their Buko Pandan. It’s really a superb and healthy thirst-quencher. Two thumbs up!!!

Startalk’s Da Who (Oct. 4)

Last Saturday though I was kind of doing something I still was able to jot down some of the details of Startalk’s Da Who. The first blind item was about “Girl Pasweetness.” Pasweet na fakeness ang kasweetan habang on cam itong si girl pasweetness pero pag patay ng cam at lumapit para magpa-picture ang fan nitong si girl pasweetness ay super deadma naman sya. Paulit-ulit syang inaapproach ng kanyang fan para magpa-picture pero ni minsan ay di nya ito pinansin kaya lumapit na lang ang male co-star ni girl pasweetness at sya na lang ang nagpa-picture. Itanong nyo sya kay PRINCESS at itago na lang daw natin sya sa namesung na Ginina Santos. Ummm…you again Sarah Geronimo! She seems to be the favorite target of Da Who these days. Well I hope it’s not true because fans are the ones who make their career lifespan long or short.

The next blind item was the “Warla Jowas” of showbiz. Maski swear to the contrary na na di na sila magjowa ay parati pa din silang nasasight na nagwawarla. May pulis at blotter pa ang huling incident na sa elevator pa ng kanilang condo nangyari. You’re so BOOBITA na pag di nyo pa nakuha! Itago na lang daw natin sila sa namesung na Cris Albano at Babet E.(I forgot the second name I just remembered the initial). Alex Crisano and Ethel Booba are my answers. They are the only famous celebrity couple that I know who argues a lot and always involves the police when they fight.

Startalks's Da Who (Sept. 27)

Yesterday there was only one blind item again on Startalk's Da Who so I wrote some detials of it again. May jugets songer na feeling sobrang api dahil sa higpit ng parientables. Eversince kasi sya ang tanging nagdadatung sa buong family kaya sobrang takot nilang mawala ang kalabaw este ang breadwinner. Tumatanda na kasi si jugets songer pero habang tumatanda sya lalo siyang hinihigpitan ng parientables. Bawal ang gimik, friends, at suitors kaya nakapagbalak maglayas na rin si jugets songer. Her initials are G. S. It's really easy . . . Sarah Geronimo.

Synopsis:
The Vineyard Man is a romantic-comical drama that revolves around the life of Lee Ji-Hyun (Yoon Eun Hye), a city girl who wants to show the world that beneath her seemingly ordinary characteristics is an extraordinary girl who will some day achieve great things. Ji-Hyun is a striving young clothing designer, who hopes to have her own label one day. Her plans are put on hold when she reluctantly takes up a tempting offer from her granduncle. She had to work one year in her granduncle's vineyard in order to inherit it. In the vineyard, the challenge of adjusting to country life is made more difficult when she has to learn how to grow grapes under the supervision of the seemingly uncouth and unsympathetic man in charge of the vineyard, Jang Taek-Gi (Oh Man Suk).
Amidst conflicts and trials, Ji-Hyun and Taek-Gi learned to care for each other. As time goes by, Ji Hyun finds herself falling in love with the vineyard and the man in it. Through the mundane process of grape farming and the personal relationship of Ji-Hyun and Taek-gi, this story portrays how beauty and kindness can be found in everything and everyone when one looks beyond the surface.
This romantic comedy features beautiful rustic scenery, a lighthearted story and a fresh cast. Yoon Eun Hye (as Lee Ji Hyun, the city girl) and Oh Man Soek (as Jang Taek-Gi, the vineyard man) both won best new actress and best new actor awards for their convincing portrayal. Yoon Eun Hye also received the Best Actress at the Grime Awards in 2006 along with Song Il Kook as the Best Actor. They also won the "Best Couple Award" in Korea.

Yoon Eun Hye(female star of Princess Hours and Coffee Prince) really knows what drama projects to choose. I watched Man in the Vineyard two years ago on KBS World. At first I was not that interested because I didn’t like the male lead Oh Man Suk since he’s not that good looking for me and it’s his first drama that I saw. But after the first episode I got hooked. Eun Hye really has a certain charm. She acts naturally and she seems effortless in portraying the roles given to her. In fairness Oh Man Suk fits his role too as a young farmer.
The storyline is simple yet interesting. There are really funny parts and most are Eun Hye’s/Ji Hyun’s sequences. The light drama scenes balances the story. The other love interest of Ji Hyun whose more attractive than Oh Man Suk/Taek-Gi makes the love angle exciting. Until the end you will still keep on guessing if Ji Hyun will have the will power to stay in the vineyard and fulfill her deal with his grandfather or go back to the city and continue pursuing her dream of becoming the next big fashion designer. It’s really not a surprise that they got awards for this drama especially Eun Hye.

Startalk's Da Who (Sept. 20)

Yesterday I got home just in time for Startalk’s Da Who. The first blind item was easy to guess for me. Ang kilalang rebel actorlet na tuloy pa rin sa bisyo kahit sinasabi nyang nagbagong buhay na sya. Pumunta sa isang tv gesting at pinagpapawisan kahit malamig. Nangangamoy chico sa dami ng nainom. Nanghihingi sya ng bubble gum sa mga utaw para mawala ang amoy. Ikonek daw sya sa isang mababang royalty. Itago na lang sya sa namesung na German Bartolina . . . . ummm . . . Baron Geisler!!!

Next was the aging male starlet na napaglipasan na ng panahon na may kadiring habit. Iinterviewhin sya ng reporters at sinabi nyang “Wait lang I’m finishing pa something.” At ang tatapusin ni aging male starlet??? . . . ang pagupit ng kuko sa paa!!! Yes nagugupit sya ng kuko sa paa in public!!! Tapos ng tapos na sa paggawa ng dirty deed nya ang aging male starlet konting pagpag lang at go na sa interview! Itago na lang natin sya sa namesung na Carlo Reseta. Hmmm . . . I’m still not sure if it’s Ramon Cristopher. Watcha think guys???

Fated To Love You

I just finished watching “Fated To Love You” on TTV(but I think they have replays). Cute story . . . (Sweet and Funny) . . . Stars Joe Chen(Frog Prince), Ethan Ruan, Baron Chen and Bianca Bai. F.Y.I. : There’s no English subtiltes on TTV. (I’m looking forward on buying the dvd/vcd of this drama soon.)

In this city, there is a “stick here stick there” love story…
The story starts from a girl whose type is common throughout Asia.
This type of girl is called “sticky note girl”. She is plain, simple, law-abiding, wishes are simple, has never been a Somebody and has never aspired to be a Somebody. Their functions are small but indispensable; like a sticky note which can be torn away easily, inconspicuous and ordinary, but she will be around you! A “luxury cruise” journey let this ordinary girl encounter the most extraordinary events in history.
Since young Chen Xin Yi was afraid that people would not like her, so she tried very hard to be nice to people. As long as someone responded to her a little, she would fall in love with that person easily. Everyone called her a sticky note girl. Because whenever anyone needed her, they just need to tear her down and use her. If they don’t need her, they can just throw her away and it wouldn’t matter. But she was a fool who treasured relationships and her weak-willed character often caused her to soften during the times when she needed to make a firm decision. One day, in order to win back her philandering boyfriend Gucci, she splurged on a love cruise but accidentally entered the wrong room. When she woke up, she was stunned to find that she had a one night stand with a stranger, and subsequently discovered that her boyfriend Gucci had betrayed her and hooked up with a rich widow. The stranger in the bed that day was called Ji Chun Xi. He was every girl’s prince charming, rich and handsome, young and capable. When he met the ordinary office girl Chen Xin Yi, he didn’t know whether this was the start of his troubles or the beginning of his happiness.
Because of the Ji family’s heredity illness, there are few males in each generation. Up to now, there was only one male heir for the past nine generations. This causes the matriarch of the family, Zhen Zhu Granny, to lose sleep with worry as she feared that this tiny family flame would be extinguished! Granny hoped that her grandson would be like the scions of other rich family and had many women. Unfortunately this grandson is decent and self-respecting. One day, granny accidentally discovered that Xin Yi is carrying Chun Xi’s baby. Maybe the Ji family’s ancestors had blessed her and finally gave her a “little golden great grandchild”. Therefore granny insisted that Chun Xi marries Xin Yi so that on the day she dies, she can face the Ji family ancestors. Granny forced Chun Xi to marry Xin Yi by threatening to call and tell his girlfriend of three years, so Chun Xi has no choice but to marry Xin Yi in order to fulfill her wish in life. But Chun Xi discovered that he could not face the fact of his marriage and couldn’t decide whether to run away at the last minute or pluck up the courage to take responsibility. At this time, he discovered that they must date and romance under his granny’s request.
Actually Chun Xi has a girlfriend of three years Anna. He had proposed to her many times before but was gently turned down each time. But Chun Xi continued to quietly wait for Anna to promise to marry him and leave everything behind. Anna did not want to marry because of her career and now he accidentally caused Xin Yi to become pregnant. But fortunately Anna was away on an overseas performance tour, giving him time to settle this mixed-up affair. Chun Xi, without his granny’s knowledge, secretly signed a pre-marriage contract with Xin Yi which states that they would divorce after the baby is born. Chun Xi promised to give Xin Yi a sum of money and after that they would have nothing to do with each other. Xin Yi agreed after careful consideration for the sake of her baby. Chun Xi’s plan was that, after the baby is born and Anna returns back after her tour completed, he and Xin Yi’s contract would be due and he can resume his relationship with Anna.
The unknowing Xin Yi moved into Chun Xi’s house and began to learn to get along with Chun Xi. The two strangers, from being unable to adapt initially, learned to get used to each other. This is a very subtle change, of the two people who lived under the same roof but has nothing to do with each other, slowly started interacting due to the trivia matters that happened in their lives. Xin Yi moved into Chun Xi’s bedroom under granny’s request and Chun Xi then went to the guest room to sleep under a pretext. But he slowly discovered that he doesn’t like the loneliness of sleeping alone and would often go back to his original room in the middle of the night. After some time, sleeping with someone by his side became a habit. The Chun Xi who doesn’t like to return home for dinner started to return home regularly and the Chun Xi who vowed not to help in anything also started to shop for baby’s wallpapers and children toys.
When they thought that they are happy, the ticking time bomb Anna who had been kept in the dark returned. Chun Xi never thought that his unresolved relationship with Anna would hurt Xin Yi, who disappeared after leaving behind a divorce agreement. He had thought that this would be the best ending, but Xin Yi had unknowingly captured his heart. He vowed that if he can find Xin Yi again, he would start over and pursue her; and this time it would not be the way a father treats the mother of his child, but as a man treats a woman…

Startalk's Da Who (Sept.13)

There was only one blind item last Saturday on Startalk's Da Who so I managed to write down some details of it. It goes something like this . . . may mischesang pasosyal pero lost sa Earth ang utak. Pumasok sila ng friends nya sa isang Italian restaurant na obvious namang Italian dahil Italian ang ambiance tapos umorder si mischesang pasosyal sa waiter ng Sinigang. Nagulat yung waiter at sinabing "wala ho kami nun" tapos sabi ni mischesang pasosyal na "ummm....sige Pakbet na lang" kaya naloka ang waiter sa kanya! Ikonek na lang daw ang namesung nya sa royalty. The last clue . . . B. K. were the initials of the name of the celebrity. For me it's so obvious that it's Bianca King but I think she's just making fun of the waiter at that time. Good one Bianca!!!

Startalk's Da Who (Sept. 6)

Before going out last Saturday we got a chance to watch Startalk's Da Who. Ma. Isabel Lopez is one of our answers(the one who loves the free stuff given at an event that she took lots). The other one we're still not sure if it's Jennilyn Mercado(the actress that has dirty nails). He he he!!!

I asked my cousin to watch Startalk for me yesterday(Aug. 30). After discussing the blind items with her we knew that one of the answers were Erik Santos(the one who's gestures were gayish while shopping with his friends) who is always a favorite target of their blind items. We still have an unsure answer for the other blind item but our guess right now is Ciara Sotto(the penny pincher celebrity that makes excuses in order not to pay for dinner).

I watch Startalk when I have nothing to do on a saturday afternoon and I always look forward on their blind items or a.k.a. Da Who. Last Saturday, that was I think Aug 23, my answers were Angelica Jones(the starlet whom whose mom wants her to only join the company of rich men) and John Lloyd Cruz(the celebrity who always picks on his loveteam).
